We’ve all seen this year how destructive fake news can be in politics. In science it’s just as bad. How many times have you heard claims like:

* _Science proves God doesn’t exist. _
* _Science proves morality is a myth._
* _Science proves we are nothing but apes._

These kinds of false claims inflict devastating damage. They drive people to despair, especially young people.

If you are like me, you may sometimes feel utterly powerless in countering this kind of fake news. BUT WE AREN’T POWERLESS. There is a great way we can push back, giving hope to others in the process.
