Just some reminders and updates about the next few days.

Election Day

So the CJMM March was a little last minute and ended up happening at 9:00 am this morning instead of the evening. But if you are interested in some gentle poll watching this evening (from 5 pm - 8 pm) still contact Tom at 320-761-1799 or [email protected].

Tom has also included some numbers to call if any of you see some voter intimidation today.

1-877-600-8683 - MN Secretary of State number (this is not voter suppression-specific, it is the MN Secretary of State's elections administration office number)

Everyone should also feel free to attend the national DSA election watch Zoom event later tonight. It starts at 7:00 pm Central Time.

Tomorrow

Then tomorrow we also invite you to Lake Ave and Superior Street for the first Protect the Results/Post Election Vigil from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We will also be meeting on the following days if necessary.

If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in discussing the possibility of a Saturday event (the March to Decide Our Future on Nov. 7, in line with other national events) we will be meeting over Zoom at 7 pm after the first Vigil tomorrow night. Here is a Zoom link to that. We would appreciate hearing as many voices as possible on that topic. It would be great to have as much community input as possible and it would be necessary to grow our capacity enough to plan a bigger event on the 7th. So you would be welcome to join!
