Whether you have a voting plan yet or not, this email is a one-stop-shop
for everything you need to make a plan and vote safely. Please read all
the way to the end and forward it to your friends. 

Important:
District of Columbia
allows same day voter registration. To learn more about how to register if

Make a voting plan:

 1. Check your status: If you’re not sure if you’re registered, [ [link removed] ]click
here, or else skip to step two. 
 2. Find your polling location or where to drop off your mail-in ballot:
[ [link removed] ]Type in your address here and you’ll find where to go vote or
deliver your ballot. Be sure to check what times the polls close. 
 3. Check your state’s rules to know what to bring: You might need an ID
to vote, so be sure to check. 
 4. Stay in line: If you’re in line before the polls close, you have the
right to vote!
 5. Bring a mask, water, and some snacks: Lines could be long, but please
stay in line. You might also consider bringing a chair.

been counted here.

Here is a list of key voting reminders and resources:

 1. If you make a mistake on your ballot, ask for a new one.
 2. If the machines are down at your polling place, ask for a paper
ballot.
 3. If you run into any problems or experience any voter suppression, call
the Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE.
 4. Wear something neutral. Leave the political clothing at home.
 5. Take care of yourself and others. If you can, offer rides to friends
and family to the polls, pass out food or water, and make a plan to
support your community in the weeks ahead.
