[1]Real Justice
This is it, John.
Tomorrow is Election Day. There are countless reasons why this is the most
important and consequential election of our lifetime — in particular for
folks in Los Angeles County.
We have a historic opportunity to replace District Attorney Jackie Lacey
and elect reform champion George Gascón. George is running to end the
destructive policies that have perpetuated mass incarceration under
Lacey’s rule and have allowed Los Angeles to become the largest jail
system in the world. If he wins tomorrow, this will be a monumental feat
for the real justice movement.

George Gascón has the experience, compassion, and dedication we need to
completely transform one of the worst cases of mass-incarceration and
anti-reform in the nation.
During these next 24 hours, our efforts could be the catalyst at
dismantling a historically racist and unethical system, and finally
replace it with one that protects, supports and uplifts all the people of
Los Angeles.
