On Wednesday, we held our third Building Hope for Change "friendraising" event. This edition focused on the Twin Cities region and highlighted the voices of Alfredo, a DACA recipient, and Kali, whose husband is undocumented—as well as special guest Mayor Regan Gonzalez of Richfield, MN.

The Trump administration signed its annual Presidential Determination on refugee admissions ([link removed][UNIQID]) just after midnight on Wednesday, October 28, committing to resettle only 15,000 individuals in Fiscal Year 2021 — the lowest admissions ceiling since the inception of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP).
