Last weekend, LIRS CEO Krish O'Mara Vignarajah published an op-ed in the Baltimore Sun about the 545 immigrant children who still have not been reunited with their parents, more than three years after the start of family separation. She accompanied the article with a video message discussing the astounding cruelty of the policy and its effects, calling for change and culpability.

On Wednesday, we held our third Building Hope for Change "friendraising" event. This edition focused on the Twin Cities region and highlighted the voices of Alfredo, a DACA recipient, and Kali, whose husband is undocumented—as well as special guest Mayor Regan Gonzalez of Richfield, MN.
