Friend of Israel,

The 2020 elections are just four days away. All 435 House seats, 35 Senate seats, and the executive branch are in the balance.

Before a single ballot is counted, we know at least 49 seats in the House and 4 seats in the Senate will change.

This is set to be the eighth straight election with at least 50 House seats changing.

Turnover in Congress requires constant planning and work to build relationships with every viable candidate.

AIPAC has held 407 meetings with viable candidates and secured 312 position papers on the U.S.-Israel relationship.

I've included more news from the week below.

Best,

Brian Shankman

In 1967, Arab leaders gathered in Sudan to declare the infamous "Three No’s": No peace with Israel, no negotiations with Israel, and no recognition of Israel. While Egypt and Jordan subsequently signed peace treaties with Israel, the rest of the Arab world had declined to follow.

Over the past three months, a new era has emerged for Arab-Israeli relations. Three nations—the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan—have stepped forward to forge a new path that will open doors for greater progress, prosperity and opportunity for their citizens.

Other Arab states and the Palestinians should follow their lead.

Instead, the Palestinian leaders continue to reject and boycott the Jewish state.
