Secretary Esper was presented with the second Iron Dome battery purchased by the U.S. Army to help protect American troops.
With bipartisan support from Congress, Israel developed Iron Dome to protect its citizens from rockets fired by Iranian-backed terror groups.
Secretary Esper is also meeting with various Israeli officials during his visit to discuss security cooperation.
U.S. military, intelligence and law enforcement officials were briefed last month on a threat from Iran against the Pentagon's most senior leaders.
