“I have seen throughout my life how we as a people can rise to a challenge, embrace change and renew our destiny.”
— Senator Edward M. Kennedy

If this year has taught us anything, it is that the American people are resilient. The daily challenges we face, from the pandemic and issues of health care access to racial and social justice, urge us all to reevaluate our circumstances and think about our role in our democracy and our society. We look to the future with a renewed sense of hope, ready to embrace positive change, just as Senator Kennedy taught us.

During this unprecedented moment in our history, the Kennedy Institute remains a dynamic hub of civic engagement. Since March, more than 12,000 viewers have tuned in to our virtual public programs, engaging in bipartisan discussions that address critical issues facing our communities, our nation, and our world. Through online resources like
Today's Vote in the Classroom ([link removed]) , the Institute continues its support of educators in this virtual world by helping them simulate the legislative process and examine real legislation in their middle and high school classrooms.

Your contribution will be put to work immediately, keeping the Institute well positioned to deliver during this critically important time. We look forward to continuing the critical conversations this important election season with a renewed focus on all issues related to voting. Senator Kennedy’s great bipartisan efforts to expand voting rights inspires JustVote.org ([link removed]) , a new initiative dedicated to educating the public about current and historical aspects of voting in this country and the power of each person’s civic voice. But we can’t do this work alone.

Please consider making a gift today of $25 or an amount that is right for you. Our work has never been more essential than it is right now. With your support, we will continue to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Many thanks,
Kerri Cullen
Director of Membership, Annual Fund, and Alumni Relations
