If this year has taught us anything, it is that the American people are resilient. The daily challenges we face, from the pandemic and issues of health care access to racial and social justice, urge us all to reevaluate our circumstances and think about our role in our democracy and our society. We look to the future with a renewed sense of hope, ready to embrace positive change, just as Senator Kennedy taught us.
During this unprecedented moment in our history, the Kennedy Institute remains a dynamic hub of civic engagement. Since March, more than 12,000 viewers have tuned in to our virtual public programs, engaging in bipartisan discussions that address critical issues facing our communities, our nation, and our world. Through online resources like Today's Vote in the Classroom, the Institute continues its support of educators in this virtual world by helping them simulate the legislative process and examine real legislation in their middle and high school classrooms.
