October 2020 My Fellow Coloradans, Over the past decade, Colorado has established itself as the gold standard for how to hold safe, secure, and reliable elections. Here's why: Mail-in ballots sent to all registered voters: Every registered, active voter in Colorado receives a ballot in the mail. Hundreds of drop-off locations: Voters can either mail their ballot or drop it off at one of the more than 350 secure ballot drop boxes located in cities and counties across the state. In-person early voting: For those who prefer to vote in-person, we offer in-person voting at polling locations throughout the state starting on October 19 and running through Election Day. Same-day registration: We offer same-day registration, as well as pre-registration for 17-year-olds who will be 18 on Election Day. You can still register to vote and vote in-person up to 7:00 PM on Election Day! Visit GoVoteColorado.gov to check your registration status or update your registration.  Today is the last day to register to vote or update your registration and still receive a ballot in the mail. This is also the last suggested day to return a ballot through the mail to ensure it arrives by Election Day on Tuesday, November 3. After this date, voters should visit a drop box or voter service and polling center to drop off their ballot. If you are unable to mail in your ballot, you can drop off your ballot at one of our many drop boxes 24 hours a day, and vote in-person at a voter service and polling center.
