My Fellow Coloradans,
Over the past decade, Colorado has established itself as the gold standard for how to hold safe, secure, and reliable elections. Here's why:
-
Mail-in ballots sent to all registered voters: Every registered, active voter in Colorado receives a ballot in the mail.
-
Hundreds of drop-off locations: Voters can either mail their ballot or drop it off at one of the more than 350 secure ballot drop boxes located in cities and counties across the state.
-
In-person early voting: For those who prefer to vote in-person, we offer in-person voting at polling locations throughout the state starting on October 19 and running through Election Day.
-
Same-day registration: We offer same-day registration, as well as pre-registration for 17-year-olds who will be 18 on Election Day. You can still register to vote and vote in-person up to 7:00 PM on Election Day! Visit GoVoteColorado.gov to check your registration status or update your registration.
Today is the last day to register to vote or update your registration and still receive a ballot in the mail. This is also the last suggested day to return a ballot through the mail to ensure it arrives by Election Day on Tuesday, November 3. After this date, voters should visit a drop box or voter service and polling center to drop off their ballot.
