$100,000 October Matching Gift Challenge

[link removed]

Dear John,

We're in the midst of our $100,000
October Matching Gift Challenge, but time is running out.

When you think of the challenges
Alzheimer's disease caregivers face, and how much more critical those
challenges became this year because of COVID-19, it's especially
urgent that we raise every dollar we can to provide care and support
and advance research.

That's why I hope I can count on you
to make your gift now, while it can go 2X as far. This incredible
opportunity is made possible thanks to Cheryl Gross, who has pledged
to match every donation made to our

$100,000 October Matching Gift Challenge before October 31, up to a
total of $100,000, but only if we raise the same amount. This match is
in honor of her mother, Nadine, who she lost to Alzheimer's in 2011.

Cheryl pledged her gift to support
Alzheimer's Association efforts to advance the technology that powers
our global research efforts and support programs.

matched 2X until the October 31 deadline, will provide care and
support and accelerate research.

As Cheryl knows, losing a loved one to
Alzheimer's is painful. And due to COVID-19, staff and residents in
U.S. long term care settings experienced heightened difficulties due
to limited access to testing, accurate data and information. The
Alzheimer's Association is advocating for important and accessible
changes through policy recommendations, and help for families as well
as care providers.

John, across
the country and in your own community, our work is critical and
urgently needed. Because we're a not-for-profit organization,
everything we do is supported by caring friends like you. Please join
the fight to end Alzheimer's today and help advance our mission to
lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by
accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early
detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Caring for a person living with
Alzheimer's or dementia often involves a team of people. Many times,
family members take the lead, even giving up their own careers to care
for their loved one full time. We're all in this together. Whether you
provide daily caregiving, participate in decision making or have a
loved one living with this disease - or you know someone who
does - we're here to help. By joining with us today, you'll help
strengthen our community and serve those who need us through our 24/7
Helpline (800.272.3900) and at alz.org/help-support, where you can
access care consultation, resources and local referrals for support.

Your generous donation, which can be
matched to make 2X the impact, will help provide care and support and
advance research. But this match is only available until the October
31 deadline, so
