John,

Mitch McConnell just announced that the Senate plans to vote Monday,
October 26 on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

We need to raise the alarm to demand that Democratic Senators and any
remaining Republicans with a conscience do everything in their power to
stop this vote from taking place. This is an emergency.

In a final statement dictated to her granddaughter, Justice Ruth Bader
Ginsburg said “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a
new president is installed.”

McConnell is planning to trample on Ginsburg’s final wish and rush a
radical right-wing judge onto the Court with just over a week remaining in
a national election. It’s a calculated, cold-hearted attempt to lock in
his radical right-wing priorities for a generation.

Over 40 million Americans have already cast their ballots. They, and the
leaders they elect, deserve a say in who will receive a lifetime
appointment to our nation’s highest court.

Senate there must be NO VOTE on any nominee until after the winner of this
election is sworn in >>

McConnell wants to subvert the democratic process to install a radical
right-wing judge on the Court who will vote to dismantle the Affordable
Care Act, enable voter suppression, and strip workers' rights.

That’s why we must fight with everything we’ve got to stop this
nomination.
