Last week, The New York Times released a deeply concerning poll: Senator Gary
Peters (D) of Michigan is up over his Republican opponent, Trump-endorsed John
James, by just one point.

We need to face a difficult reality: Democrats could lose an extremely important
Senate seat.

And if Senator Gary Peters loses in Michigan, it becomes much more difficult for
Democrats to flip the Senate.

Republicans are all in to flip this seat. In the past week alone, they've
pledged $5.6 million on top of millions more already spent on this race.

And they only doubled down against Senator Peters when he promised to vote
against Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation, while also sharing his family's
personal story in support of reproductive rights.

The courage and vulnerability Senator Peters has shown in the past week make it
so clear why we need to do everything we can to keep him in the Senate.
