Last week, The New York Times released a deeply concerning poll: Senator Gary Peters (D) of Michigan is up over his Republican opponent, Trump-endorsed John James, by just one point.

We need to face a difficult reality: Democrats could lose an extremely important Senate seat.

The courage and vulnerability Senator Peters has shown in the past week make it so clear why we need to do everything we can to keep him in the Senate.
