The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) have awarded Nottingham City Youth Justice Service additional funding for a Detached Youth Work team. These temporary posts will work alongside Nottingham City Play & Youth Service to provide detached youth work across the city. The team members will need to have the ability to engage with a wide range of children and young people who may at times include those identified as being at risk of anti-social behaviour and/ or vulnerable to youth violence.

You will be working in an area team but available for deployment in different areas of the City and you will lead a team to deliver effective play and youth provision in a variety of centre-based, outreach and detached settings. The team will ensure children and young peoples personal, social and educational development is facilitated and supported. You will have access to a range of resources, buildings and open spaces across Nottingham City.

There is emphasis on working alongside a multi-disciplinary hub to identify, assess, and deliver programmes to children and young people who are vulnerable to exploitation and crime.

*THE ROLE:*

This is a fantastic opportunity for apassionate and forward-thinking individual to join the Innovation & Change Team in Parking, Fleet & Transport Services, as a ULEV Grant ProjectOfficer.

Nottingham City Council has been successful in securing a significant amount of grant funding and the ULEV Grant Project Officer is required to enable the delivery of the Parking, Fleet& Transport Services projects involved, in addition to other ULEV related projects.

The post holder's project management responsibilities will include tasks such as project planning, managing delivery schedules, financial management, project governance, issue and risk management and reporting of project and programme information.

Working in a friendly and fast paced administration team, you will be supporting the HM Senior Coroner and HM Assistant Coroners, the Head of Service and Practice manager in delivering a responsive, professional and robust service, as well as acting as a Court Usher providing support to witnesses and families.
