We hope you had a wonderful summer. Thank you for supporting AJC [link removed] as we celebrate our 75th Anniversary! [link removed] “Words can turn to violence, hate can quickly become hate crimes.” AJC Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer Jason Isaacson (far right) joined scholars, senior officials, and policymakers at the Department of Justice this summer to sound the alarm about the rise of anti-Jewish hatred. This was the largest ever substantial and far-reaching discussion on antisemitism ever convened by the U.S. government. AJC was the only Jewish advocacy organization invited to speak on a panel. AJC High School Leadership Program
At a time of rising antisemitism and challenges to the very legitimacy of Israel, young Jews are being challenged like never before. AJC’s Leaders for Tomorrow [link removed] program empowers talented Jewish teenagers, teaching them to stand up for themselves and their community and build the relationships necessary to push back on bigotry and hate.
LFT [link removed] explores challenges facing global Jewry through advocacy training, congressional and diplomatic engagement, and sessions with AJC policy experts. The program trains students as advocates for Israel and gives them the tools to effectively use their voices against anti-Semitism.
The program meets seven times from October – May at the Bender JCC in Rockville, MD. There is no cost to apply or participate.
