“Words can turn to violence, hate can quickly become hate crimes.” AJC Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer Jason Isaacson (far right) joined scholars, senior officials, and policymakers at the Department of Justice this summer to sound the alarm about the rise of anti-Jewish hatred. This was the largest ever substantial and far-reaching discussion on antisemitism ever convened by the U.S. government. AJC was the only Jewish advocacy organization invited to speak on a panel. AJC experts are available to speak in your community at clubs, synagogues, or gatherings. Through a Jewish lens, our experts can share how to get involved in fighting BDS, advocating for Israel, and creating connections with different faiths to combat antisemitism. Apply today | AJC High School Leadership Program
At a time of rising antisemitism and challenges to the very legitimacy of Israel, young Jews are being challenged like never before. AJC’s Leaders for Tomorrow program empowers talented Jewish teenagers, teaching them to stand up for themselves and their community and build the relationships necessary to push back on bigotry and hate.

LFT explores challenges facing global Jewry through advocacy training, congressional and diplomatic engagement, and sessions with AJC policy experts. The program trains students as advocates for Israel and gives them the tools to effectively use their voices against anti-Semitism.

The program meets seven times from October – May at the Bender JCC in Rockville, MD. There is no cost to apply or participate.

“I am honored and excited to be starting my term as President of the AJC Washington Regional Board. I am extremely fortunate to be able to build on Toby Dershowitz’s terrific leadership and to work with Board, Council, and ACCESS members with a wealth of expertise and to partner with staff that is talented, dedicated, and a pleasure to work with. The year ahead will have its challenges, but we have an outstanding team to address them. It will also be an exciting year, including the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Washington Regional Office planned for December. I look forward to working with each of you to further AJC's mission at this critical time.”
