Amy Coney Barrett was picked because she checks all the right boxes to please Donald Trump. Trump made it clear he would only appoint justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade, and she's written that abortion is "always immoral."

The week after the election, a case will come before the Supreme Court that would dismantle the Affordable Care Act, and Donald Trump has openly admitted he wants her seated to rule on his potential challenge to the election results.

Amy Coney Barrett's views include opposing marriage equality, calling common birth-control methods "abortion drugs" and serving as a "handmaid" in a religious covenant community in which married women are considered "headed" by their husbands.

This week's confirmation hearings made it plain. Amy Coney Barrett's appointment will shift the Supreme Court so far to the right that generations of women will suffer the consequences. We need your help to push Senate Democrats to delay a floor vote until after the election and tell Senate Republicans we see through their corrupt plan. The Senate should be passing COVID relief-that's all.
