Today on Capitol Hill, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.), and Pro-Life Caucus Chair Chris Smith (R-N.J.) are holding a hearing on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, featuring expert witnesses on abortion procedures and abortion statistics ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

Americans United for Life consistently proclaims the inherent value of all human life—but especially the common sense need to care for children who survive abortion. It's a sign of our extreme political climate that the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act has been blocked eighty times, despite 201 U.S. Representatives demanding that the bill be brought to the House floor for a vote.
