Today on Capitol Hill, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.), and Pro-Life Caucus Chair Chris Smith (R-N.J.) are holding a hearing on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, featuring expert witnesses on abortion procedures and abortion statistics.

Americans United for Life consistently proclaims the inherent value of all human life—but especially the common sense need to care for children who survive abortion. It's a sign of our extreme political climate that the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act has been blocked eighty times, despite 201 U.S. Representatives demanding that the bill be brought to the House floor for a vote.
