Grab your bucket and spade! Nottinghams famous Beach in Old Market Square will open Friday for the people of Nottingham and visitors to the city to enjoy this summer.
Nottingham Beach is bigger and better than ever before with more sand (120 tonnes) and even more entertainment.
Look forward to traditional rides and attractions, a beach barbecue and bar and an entertainment schedule packed full of live music from local bands and artists.
There will also be movie nights under the stars, beach volleyball tournaments and Just Ben hosting Variety on the Beach. As always, the Beach is open to everyone throughout the school holidays.

*Playa Day* -Brand new this year, is the Playa Day Club and Restaurant which will be for over 18s only. Soak up the sun on pool-side day beds and deluxe pool pods, normally seen gracing the sandy shores of the Mediterranean; whilst sipping a summery cocktail and enjoying live music and entertainment.With indoor and outdoor seating, it is perfect for after-work drinks and sharing platters. Visit Wollaton Hall this weekend for a great pair of films shown on the giant screen under the stars!. You can grab food, and snacks plus a drink at the bar and enjoy music before the films start.
