Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent her storied career dedicated to advancing the rights of women. On the bench, she defended, protected, and advanced reproductive rights despite relentless attacks by Republican lawmakers.

Justice Ginsburg's dying wish was that her replacement not be confirmed until a new president has been installed. And four years after he refused to vote on a Supreme Court nominee because of the election, Mitch McConnell has said he will not respect that wish and will instead hold a vote on Trump's nominee, Amy Coney Barrett.

As we get closer to the November election and as Trump continues to threaten DACA, reproductive rights, and vote-by-mail -- and by extension, our democracy -- the stakes are too high not to fight back with everything we've got.
