1.4 M REGISTRATIONS AND COUNTING!
To date, Rock the Vote's Online Voter Registration Platform has processed over 1.4 million registrants in 2020, which includes all of our partners. We also wrapped up the month with our platform's biggest National Voter Registration Day ever! Last week for NVRD, 200,000 people submitted voter registration applications or confirmed their registration. In comparison, NVRD 2016 saw 105,000 registrations platform-wide.

For those who missed it, we've also added a print-and-mail feature to improve completion rates for registrants who must submit a hard copy registration form. This new feature mails registrants their pre-filled voter registration form, with a pre-addressed and stamped envelope.

FOOTACTION TRANSFORMS MORE THAN 2,000 STORES INTO REGISTRATION SITES
We’re excited to partner with FootAction to transform more than 2,000 Foot Locker, Champs Sports, and Footaction retail locations into voting registration hubs. Visitors to any of their U.S. retail locations will have access to a kiosk where they can check their voter status, register to vote, or sign up for election reminders. Chairman and CEO of Foot Locker Inc. Richard Johnson said the project, is an effort to "educate and amplify the voices of today's youth."

HOOPERS VOTE FOR NVRD
We launched Hoopers Vote, an initiative aimed at bringing the basketball community -- including WNBA and NBA players, coaches, retired stars, and basketball media personalities, college and high school hoopers, and fans-- together to amplify the importance of voting. Segments were featured and ads ran on TNT and ESPN with over 100 Hoopers Vote ambassadors posting on social media, including James Worthy, Alex English, and Lisa Leslie; WNBA players Nneka Ogwumike and Layshia Clarendon; and NBA players Duncan Robinson, Kevin Love, and Jaren Jackson Jr. Learn more about the initiative here.

WE'RE MAKING VOTING SAFER AND MORE FLEXIBLE
With the launch of our Absentee Ballot Request Tool, we are helping registrants to navigate the process to request a vote-at-home ballot in their state. The platform models our Online Voter Registration platform and is dynamic to each state, and sometimes counties, unique process and enables email and faxed in capabilities wherever possible. During these vital final days, we are doing everything we can, to ensure ALL eligible voters are able to cast their ballot on or before election day. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
