The Foundation for Child Development continues to celebrate the life and memory of Dr. Ruby Takanishi, former President and CEO (1996-2012). An obituary highlighting her accomplishments appeared in The New York Times Obituaries ([link removed]) on September 28th. We are grateful for her significant contributions to the early childhood field, especially her dedication to rigorous research that could inform policy and practice and promote the well-being of young children.
