The Foundation for Child Development continues to celebrate the life and memory of Dr. Ruby Takanishi, former President and CEO (1996-2012). An obituary highlighting her accomplishments appeared in The New York Times Obituaries on September 28th. We are grateful for her significant contributions to the early childhood field, especially her dedication to rigorous research that could inform policy and practice and promote the well-being of young children.
