the Tent City jail” an infamous relic of the Arpaio-Sheridan
administration that Sheriff Penzone closed and introduced a drug
rehabilitation program in its place to reduce recidivism.
But that’s not all that concerns us: Since Sheridan is not
as well known as his old boss Joe Arpaio, voters may be casting
their ballots for him without knowing the extent of his record as
a deputy — he was found in contempt of court, knowingly made
misstatements under oath, disobeyed court orders, and manipulated
internal investigations to avoid accountability for himself and
others.
That’s why it’s our mission to expose Jerry Sheridan’s
record and make sure Maricopa County voters know the full extent
