Hi friend --
The Washington Post reports Mitch McConnell and his allies "immediately denounced" the short-term spending bill the Democrats offered to keep America running -- which means, on top of everything else, we could be heading for a government shutdown.
It seems McConnell just wants to obstruct everything. Unless of course, it's Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, who McConnell has sworn will receive a vote on the Senate floor -- against the wishes of the American people and the late Justice Ginsburg.
This is a disgrace. McConnell must step down.
His retirement would mean a new era in the Senate, one where we might actually be able to advance a progressive agenda -- and one where we don't have to put up with his toxic hypocrisy each and every day. Do you think it's time for McConnell to retire? Tell us now:
