Hello John,



Tonight was the first TVNZ Leaders’ Debate and Jacinda did us all proud. She was positive and composed, laying out Labour’s future-focused plan to create jobs, rebuild our economy, and keep New Zealand moving.



Debates are a great way for New Zealanders to get to know more about what a candidate stands for, what their values are, and what their agenda is for our country - and that’s exactly what Jacinda did tonight.



She demonstrated yet again why she’s the leader we need right now. She set-out our 5-point recovery plan, which is focused on investing in our people, creating jobs and supporting small businesses, and is already making a difference to the lives of New Zealanders. Now, more than ever, we need to make sure we don’t put on the brakes.
