Hello John,

Tonight was the first TVNZ Leaders’ Debate and Jacinda did us all proud. She was positive and composed, laying out Labour’s future-focused plan to create jobs, rebuild our economy, and keep New Zealand moving.

Debates are a great way for New Zealanders to get to know more about what a candidate stands for, what their values are, and what their agenda is for our country - and that’s exactly what Jacinda did tonight.

She demonstrated yet again why she’s the leader we need right now. She set-out our 5-point recovery plan, which is focused on investing in our people, creating jobs and supporting small businesses, and is already making a difference to the lives of New Zealanders. Now, more than ever, we need to make sure we don’t put on the brakes.

The importance of this election couldn’t be clearer. New Zealand needs Jacinda and the team to continue running a strong and stable government, and keep rolling out our plan, as we recover and rebuild from COVID-19.

To make sure we can do this though, we need your support. We can only run this campaign because supporters like you have given your time, your expertise and generously chipped in to fund our efforts. But there’s still so much at stake and three weeks to go.
