With the heartbreaking passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Republicans’ ruthless commitment to replacing her on the Supreme Court with a far-right conservative as soon as possible, flipping the Senate this November is an absolute MUST.

You may remember in early 2016 when the Republican-controlled Senate refused a vote on President Obama’s extremely qualified Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, because it was an election year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has now made it clearer than ever before: Republicans refuse to play by their own rules. Their word means nothing.

If Republicans succeed at placing a far-right extremist on the bench, everything from the Affordable Care Act, to Roe v. Wade , to LGBTQ equality, and so much more is on the line.

Justice Ginsburg knew this, which is why her dying wish was “that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”

While Cory fights to stop the Senate from rushing a vote on Trump’s nominee before the 2021 inauguration, it’s up to us to do absolutely everything in our power to vote these Republicans out of office on November 3 and take back control of the Senate.
