With the heartbreaking passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Republicans’ ruthless commitment to replacing her on the Supreme Court with a far-right conservative as soon as possible, flipping the Senate this November is an absolute MUST.

You may remember in early 2016 when the Republican-controlled Senate refused a vote on President Obama’s extremely qualified Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, because it was an election year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has now made it clearer than ever before: Republicans refuse to play by their own rules. Their word means nothing.

If Republicans succeed at placing a far-right extremist on the bench, everything from the Affordable Care Act, to Roe v. Wade, to LGBTQ equality, and so much more is on the line.

Justice Ginsburg knew this, which is why her dying wish was “that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”
