Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has ordered the state health department to issue rules banning the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in the state for at least six months in response to concerns of a growing public health crisis. Flavored e-cigarettes are especially dangerous because they attract youth and because those young users are likely to be misinformed about the harmfulness of the products.
