EXXONMOBIL HAS BEEN SPONSORING THE IDITAROD FOR OVER FOUR DECADES

During the 2020 Iditarod, more than 220 dogs were pulled off the trail because of exhaustion, illness, or injury. In addition, more than 150 dogs have died
during races in years past. Continuing to sponsor the Iditarod is a form of speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview, which must be stopped.

PETA Victory: Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein Ditch Exotic Skins

This win comes after a decade of pushing from PETA to save animals raised for their skin who are kept in squalid, severely crowded conditions on farms, which
create a major breeding ground for a wide range of zoonotic pathogens like salmonella, E. coli , and the novel coronavirus. So this historic victory is a real win for everyone!

A PETA undercover investigation of the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center found that many of the 2,000 highly intelligent animals there were being
neglected, driven mad by extreme long-term confinement, and attacked by their traumatized cagemates. Ask the University of Wisconsin–Madison to shut down its
primate laboratory.

THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL SUPPORTS VIOLENCE TOWARD ANIMALS

Even though the leadership at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) knows that Canada Goose uses fur from coyotes who are caught in painful steel
traps and down from birds who are violently slaughtered, the festival continues to take sponsorship money from the abusive company. By continuing to accept this blood money, TIFF is showing that it has no problem with vicious cruelty to animals.

OHIO OFFICIALS FAILED NEARLY 2 MILLION HENS EXPLOITED FOR THEIR EGGS

PETA's investigation of Trillium Farm Holdings followed verified reports by a whistleblower that 260,000 hens had been killed there in December by closing off the ventilation in sheds and raising the temperature to at least 104 degrees, essentially roasting them alive. The Ohio Department of Agriculture hasn't helped nearly 2 million suffering birds at the facility, so it's up to people like you.

PETA COULDN'T DO WHAT IT DOES WITHOUT PETA LATINO

PETA Latino works hard to be an indispensable resource for Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S. and Latin America that are looking to make kinder
choices for animals. From hyping vegan Latin food to getting the Mexican state of Quintana Roo to ban bullfighting, cockfighting, and horse-drawn carriages, PETA Latino and its supporters can be credited with countless wins for animals.

FASCINATING FACT:
Rabbits are natural prey animals, which means they'll try not to act hurt even if they're in pain. Their guardians have to watch for subtle symptoms of pain to make sure that they're healthy and happy.
