Dear John,
In the middle of a pandemic, immigration enforcement is continuing to tear thousands of people from their homes and families. These people will then be detained in life-threatening conditions.
And nearly 9 in 10 of those detained won't have an attorney according to our research [[link removed]] .
This is why the Immigration Justice Campaign—the Council’s initiative with the American Immigration Lawyers Association—matters more than ever.
Will you make a gift to help us train lawyers everywhere to stand up with those detained in the courtroom?

Detained people face an immigration system that is focused on removing as many people as possible without due process. But with your support, we can preserve justice for all—regardless of immigration status.
