September is National Suicide Awareness Prevention Month, and it is more important now than ever to know the suicide warning signs and to feel comfortable discussing suicide and safety with your child. A conversation about suicide may feel scary, but there are some helpful dos and don’ts that can make this process a little easier ([link removed]) .

** Bullying and adolescent suicide ([link removed])

Teens who are cyberbullied are more than three times as likely to contemplate suicide as other kids. We spoke with psychologist Dr. Adelaide Robb about the connection between bullying and adolescent suicide and what you can do to help your kids.

** Checking in with your kids ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
As kids grow up, they often face stressors from school, home and other life events. Stress that builds up over time can start to get in the way of how your child is doing day to day. As a parent, you should check in with your children to see how they are doing and to provide support.
