John,
In 2020, we saw historic voter turnout. But we also noticed the beginning
of a deliberate plan for long-term voter disengagement by bad-faith
actors.
Since then, voting rates have decreased, mistrust about our institutions
has grown, and millions of Americans — especially young Latinos — have
begun feeling like their voices no longer matter.
This disillusionment comes from coordinated and targeted online
disinformation efforts.

This is why we just launched a year-round strategy to address the root
causes of disengagement directly.
Through authentic, community-centered investments and our new digital hub,
El Brief, we are meeting Gen Z and Millennial Latinos where they already
scroll on TikTok, [ [link removed] ]Instagram, and YouTube to bust viral myths before
they take root.
At the same time, we are running continuous campaigns that expose the harm
of extreme policies, testing our messaging in real time, and expanding
both paid and organic outreach to re-engage voters long before Election
Day.
We know civic trust isn't built overnight, and it requires showing up
every single day with the truth, real community investment, and accessible
information.
