No? Well, it works!

Ok that wasn't the best. Here’s one more…

*INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS*
Qasim was a guest on Activist Theology Podcast [[link removed]] at 42:38, the host asks Qasim a question about systemic racism and he answers in part by talking about digital redlining . See transcript below:

“Digital redlining has become the new reality where broadband internet access is an absolute necessity, especially now. Our kids are not in school today and they're doing it remotely from home. Fortunately, we have broadband, but a lot of my district does not. We see, and there's a great story in the Baltimore Sun about this, about how broadband is laid out in predominantly white and affluent neighborhoods, but in black, Hispanic, and low-income communities, it's not.

Again, you're creating a class system built on these legacies of white supremacy that are just devastating our communities.”

Qasim appeared on Two Mics Up, a local podcast focused on happening around the DMV and racial justice. Redlining, current events, and bipartisanship were discussed on the Podcast. Listen here [[link removed]] .

“This week, I’m focusing on us having the resources to keep our digital ads up. We also have some new ads we are looking to produce if we raise enough this week. We also just put up billboards throughout the district and we need to ensure they stay up from now until Election Day. Your donation this week will help us hit that goal!” - Tino
