John Kennedy for Senate This number is buggin' me

Friend,
My finance team handed me a piece of paper this morning with one number
circled in red:
$1,487.63.
That's exactly how far we are from our fundraising goal.
Not $1,400. Not "about $1,500." Exactly $1,487.63 – which means somewhere
along the way, even the spare change started causing trouble.
I asked if we could simply erase the number. Apparently, that's "not how
accounting works."
So, I'm turning to you.
