It’s National Suicide Prevention Week! #KeepGoing!

Yesterday was the start of National Suicide Prevention Week: a week to take action, support one another, and shine a spotlight on the things we can all do to save lives. In the era of COVID-19, as we manage our own mental well-being in the face of uncertainty, it’s more important than ever that we be kind to ourselves, and#KeepGoing

Each day this week, we’ll be highlighting a simple, actionable step that everyone can take – from learning the warning signs for suicide, to having a #RealConvo with someone you care about – to increase awareness and help save lives. You don’t have to be a mental health professional to make a difference, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Throughout the week we also urge you to contact your U.S. Representative through theAFSP Action Center
