Staircase-Escalante national monuments in southern Utah, the latest in a long
line of attacks on the public lands Americans cherish.

He is attempting to slash three million acres of protections, which cuts Bears
Ears to 9 percent of its original size and Grand Staircase-Escalante to just 10
percent.

His proclamation defies Intertribal collaborative management and shared
stewardship of these landscapes. It also comes at a time when 91 percent of
Western voters across party lines, including 86 percent of Utahns, want these
monuments protected1.



Demand that Congress fight back against these attacks on our beloved national
monuments.
