As part of our continued commitment to addressing tobacco as a social justice issue, our Tobacco/Vape-Free College Program is launching grants for Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Predominantly Black Institutions. California – Gov. Newsom signed into law a bill which prohibits the sale of all flavored tobacco products, except hookah, premium cigars and pipe tobacco.

New Hope, Minnesota – The city council passed an ordinance that prohibits the sale of flavored tobacco products, except mint, menthol and wintergreen flavored products (adult-only tobacco stores are exempt) and caps the number of tobacco licenses at the current number of licenses, among other provisions.
