The Washington Post: “Ohio has not been a battleground state for a while, but analysts see highly competitive dynamics between Democrat Sherrod Brown, a former longtime senator, and Sen. Jon Husted…the president’s approval rating there has dropped, creating more favorable terrain for Democrats.” ([link removed])

Ohio is the most competitive race in the country – and analysts agree. The Republican dark money machine sees it too, and they’re funneling a whopping $133 million to drown us out before Ohio voters even get a say.

The political ground in Ohio is shifting, and voters are taking a harder look at the direction things are headed. That means the seat Husted was appointed to – never elected to – is winnable.

That’s why this race is already on track to be one of the most expensive Senate races in history – if we don’t win Ohio, we can’t flip the Senate blue. With the latest poll from The New York Times showing me within striking distance of Husted, the avalanche of Republican money could be enough to bury our momentum for good if we don’t respond right now.
