TRUMP’S NEW BIRTHRIGHT CRACKDOWN
President Trump isn’t taking “no” for an answer.
Weeks after the Supreme Court struck down his birthright citizenship
order, Trump signed two new executive orders Thursday.
The first expands the categories of people ineligible for automatic
birthright citizenship, while the second directs his administration to
shut down “birth tourism.”
“We’re making adjustments because it’s very unfair,” Trump
said. “It’s a disgrace. They’re buying their way in, and we’re
not going to let it happen.”
A White House official said the administration believes Trump’s new
orders will survive legal challenges because Trump is using “legally
validated means” for the crackdown.
FAUCI CAN’T HIDE ANYMORE
Dr. Fauci is beginning to face the music.
Sen. Rand Paul’s committee voted Thursday to hold Fauci in contempt
of Congress after he invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times
at a hearing last week.
“Dr. Fauci faced no risk of federal prosecution,” Paul said
Thursday. “All he had to do was tell the truth.”
But Fauci refused, and now the DOJ will get to decide if he faces
criminal charges.
Meanwhile, RFK Jr.’s HHS handed Senate investigators a forensic copy
of Fauci’s pandemic-era government phone, which Sen. Ron Johnson
hopes “will address many of the questions” Fauci refused to answer
last week.

TRUMP HUNTS THE LEAKERS
President Trump is correcting the record — and going on a hunt.
Multiple news outlets claimed this week that U.S. missile stockpiles
have been depleted during the Iran conflict. But Trump says that’s
not true.
In fact, the U.S. “has massive amounts of ‘munitions,’” Trump
said, and “large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the
U.S. as needed.”
Then Trump sent a message to the people behind the reports.
“The ‘leakers’ of these treasonous statements are being hunted
down,” he warned. “Long term jail sentences will be sought!”
THE 2020 HACK THEY BURIED
Democrats spent years insisting 2020 was the most secure election in
history.
But newly declassified FBI documents released Thursday reveal a hacker
exploited Maricopa County’s voter registration site to steal 633,000
voter records days before the 2020 election — roughly 930 of them
containing sensitive, non-public data.
The suspect confessed to federal agents and admitted wiping the
evidence.
The FBI built the case and handed it to state and federal prosecutors,
who declined to take action for unknown reasons. Biden’s FBI then
closed the case in 2023.
MITCH MCCONNELL LEAVES REHAB
Mitch McConnell is heading home — but not to work.
The 84-year-old Kentucky senator announced Thursday that he’d been
discharged from a rehab facility to recover at home. McConnell was
hospitalized in June after a fall and bout with pneumonia.
His office said little for weeks, fueling speculation about his
condition before releasing photos to knock down claims that he was
incapacitated.
McConnell said he will work from home as he continues to recover, but
said nothing about returning to work in the Senate.
