TRUMP HUNTS THE LEAKERS
President Trump is correcting the record — and going on a hunt.
Multiple news outlets claimed this week that U.S. missile stockpiles have been depleted during the Iran conflict. But Trump says that’s not true.
In fact, the U.S. “has massive amounts of ‘munitions,’” Trump said, and “large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed.”
Then Trump sent a message to the people behind the reports.
“The ‘leakers’ of these treasonous statements are being hunted down,” he warned. “Long term jail sentences will be sought!”
THE 2020 HACK THEY BURIED
Democrats spent years insisting 2020 was the most secure election in history.
But newly declassified FBI documents released Thursday reveal a hacker exploited Maricopa County’s voter registration site to steal 633,000 voter records days before the 2020 election — roughly 930 of them containing sensitive, non-public data.
The suspect confessed to federal agents and admitted wiping the evidence.
The FBI built the case and handed it to state and federal prosecutors, who declined to take action for unknown reasons. Biden’s FBI then closed the case in 2023.
MITCH MCCONNELL LEAVES REHAB
Mitch McConnell is heading home — but not to work.
The 84-year-old Kentucky senator announced Thursday that he’d been discharged from a rehab facility to recover at home. McConnell was hospitalized in June after a fall and bout with pneumonia.
His office said little for weeks, fueling speculation about his condition before releasing photos to knock down claims that he was incapacitated.
McConnell said he will work from home as he continues to recover, but said nothing about returning to work in the Senate.
