Dear Friend,
As the summer starts to wind down and our nation continues to grapple with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and other urgent challenges, we wanted to keep you personally updated on how the work at the Clinton Foundation continues to put people first and improve lives across the country and around the world.

1. As overdose deaths spike, the Clinton Foundation distributes more than 155,000 doses of lifesaving naloxone to recovery residences and community organizations across the United States. Through a new partnership among the Clinton Foundation, Direct Relief, the Voices Project, and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, recovery residences and community organizations across the country now have access to the lifesaving opioid overdose reversal drug, naloxone. Read more about this lifesaving partnership in USA TODAY.

2. The Clinton Presidential Center provides meals, school supplies, and support for virtual learning. Together with partners World Central Kitchen and the City of Little Rock, we’ve distributed more than 680,000 meals to Central Arkansans in need. And, as families prepared for back to school, the Center provided 3,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for underserved students. This school year, we’ll continue serving students and educators through educational programs like free ACT prep and workshops offered virtually. See what this work looks like in action and follow @ClintonCenter to stay updated.

3. Too Small to Fail reaches children and families in underserved communities with critical resources to support early learning. Through partnerships with the National Diaper Bank Network, National Head Start Association, World Central Kitchen, Navajo Nation, and local communities across the country, we’ve distributed more than 50,000 books, provided by Scholastic; essential needs items, like diapers and baby formula; and copies of our Indoor Activities Kit to support parents and caregivers with their child’s early learning and development. Read how books and supplies are getting to some of the hardest hit in the Navajo Nation.
