CAN’T BLAME DEMS FOR THIS
The Senate’s top Republican won’t fight for the SAVE America Act.
While conservative senators are pushing to cancel the Senate’s
five-week recess to force a vote on the SAVE America Act, leader John
Thune would rather send everyone home.
Thune said Tuesday he wants vulnerable incumbent senators to
“maximize” time in their home states ahead of the midterm
elections.
“The best thing we have going for us in a lot of these races is the
quality of our candidates,” Thune said. “But voters out there need
to see them, which means they’ve gotta be back in their states.”
Translation? Thune remains unwilling to do what it takes to pass the
SAVE America Act.
BLANCHE HEADS FOR CONFIRMATION
Acting AG Todd Blanche is now just one step from becoming the
permanent AG — if RINOs comply.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12-10 on Tuesday to advance
Blanche’s nomination to lead the Justice Department, sending it to a
final floor vote.
Every Democrat on the committee voted against Blanche.
A full Senate vote on Blanche’s confirmation could come as early as
this week before the Senate recesses until next month.
“Republican” Sen. Susan Collins said she will oppose Blanche,
leaving his fate up to RINOs Lisa Murkowski and Bill Cassidy.

MAMDANI CAVES ON IDS
The double standard was too much even for him.
To keep his taxpayer-funded grocery stores stocked for locals, Zohran
Mamdani’s economic development chief said the city would “target
New Yorkers” with a “library card-esque thing” — an ID to
shop.
The problem: Democrats spent years insisting an ID to vote is racist
and impossible.
Caught in the contradiction, Mamdani is now walking it back.
“NYC Grocery stores will be open to everyone. There will be no
system to verify identity, residency, or income, and no one will be
asked to show ID to shop,” a city spokesperson said.
NEW IRAN DEAL IMMINENT?
President Trump’s pressure campaign on Tehran may be about to pay
off.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the U.S. could announce a deal
with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz imminently, sending oil
prices tumbling and stocks rallying upward.
Qatar’s foreign ministry later confirmed draft agreements are
“being circulated” and “in very progressive stages.”
Earlier this week, Trump said he wanted to give Iran “every last
chance before decapitation.”
FAUCI CONTEMPT VOTE SET
Dr. Fauci’s accountability is only beginning.
Sen. Rand Paul confirmed Tuesday that his committee will hold a vote
on Thursday to hold Fauci in contempt of Congress for refusing to
answer questions at an explosive hearing last week.
“Fauci refused to answer a single question, even though he knew he
couldn’t be charged for crimes during that period,” Paul said.
Fauci thought his preemptive pardon was his shield. But it’s quickly
becoming a trap.
