Tonight, Michigan made history.
This was a tough fight, but voters across the state chose a new generation of leaders who reflect the strength, diversity, and values of their communities. Among them is Abdul El-Sayed , whose victory in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate marks a historic moment for Michigan and for Muslim Americans across the country.
This victory happened because our communities organized. Because students and retirees made phone calls. Because families talked to neighbors. Because our donors invested in a vision. Because coalition partners showed up. And because voters refused to sit on the sidelines.

Tonight, we celebrate.
But tomorrow? Tomorrow we get back to work, because November is around the corner, and the fight will be even harder.

We'll be knocking more doors, reaching more voters, training more volunteers, and expanding our organizing efforts across Michigan.
