Every door knocked was an opportunity to listen. Every text started a conversation. Every phone call brought another voter into our movement.
For years, Muslim Americans have been told to wait our turn, lower our expectations, or settle for simply being represented. Tonight is another reminder that when our communities organize, we do more than participate.
We lead.
This victory belongs to every volunteer who gave up evenings and weekends, every organizer who built relationships block by block, every donor who invested in this movement, every coalition partner who stood alongside us, and every voter who cast a ballot believing that a better future is possible.
Tonight, we celebrate.
But tomorrow? Tomorrow we get back to work, because November is around the corner, and the fight will be even harder.
The general election starts now, and the work ahead will require all of us. We'll be knocking more doors, reaching more voters, training more volunteers, and expanding our organizing efforts across Michigan. If you believe in the future we're building together, we invite you to invest in this movement.
Your support today will help ensure these historic victories become victories in November.
